Hello, hello, and welcome to Monday, October 23rd.
It is two o’clock in the afternoon here for me, so I’m getting to this way late.
I actually didn’t even get to writing until just a few minutes ago, about half an hour ago.
Today has been a Monday.
It’s been non-stop since 6.30 this morning.
Unfortunately, I don’t like when days start out that way, but it’s been, you know, successful and productive and etc, etc, so on and so forth, but not being able to write to get to that part of my day immediately really throws off my headspace for the rest of the day, and I certainly feel like I’ve been in a just kind of a funk since I wasn’t able to write right away.
So all of that said, I did get the Grateful Log, you know, processed and written out, so feeling a little clearer for the remainder of the day, even though it’s a bit shorter, but yeah, so that’s it.
So let’s dive into the Grateful Log for today.
First up is that I made my first loaf of bread yesterday, and the thing actually turned out.
Just it was an idea that I had in the morning, and thought since I had the time that I could use some of that time to experiment with making a loaf of bread.
There was a recipe in a book that I’m currently reading, which I’ll probably talk about a bit later in a future video, but the recipe looked very simple, and so I thought, you know what, I’m going to give this a go.
I have never made it before.
I, you know, grew up with my family making bread.
Lindsay makes bread, so I’ve been around people that make bread.
I just never did it myself.
I didn’t know what to expect, so was pleasantly surprised when every part of the process seemed to work, and took it out of the oven after it baked, and cut it, and tasted it, and it seemed fine.
So I was thrilled with that.
So I do kind of see that becoming a bit of a thing that I do, instead of buying the bread that I have been buying from the farmer’s market, just making my own.
So I don’t know.
That was fun, and I’ll probably keep doing it.
Second on the grateful log is realizing and remembering that it is never too late.
This one is a bit of a loaded statement for sure, and I don’t think it’s something that I really want to get into at the moment.
So we’re just going to leave that one there, but feel free to use that for yourself without any context from me, which, you know, I don’t think is necessary.
So remember, it’s never too late.
So I was happy to remember that today.
And then the third one, which is also a bit of a loaded statement, which I’m not really going to get into too much right now, is that things seem to be aligning in my thought process with the present and future, and in reality as well.
Again, there’s a lot that goes into that statement.
It’s fully loaded for sure, and so I’m not going to get into that.
There’s really no—these last two, there’s no succinct way to really get into them, so I’m not going to do that right now.
So at any rate, that is the grateful log for today, the grateful journal.
I’m going to leave it there.
I need to make some lunch and then move into the next part of my day.
I hope that your Monday has been going really well, and I hope that it finishes well for you, so that you can maybe have some time this evening to unwind before moving into Tuesday, and the days will just keep on going.
So I hope it’s awesome.
I hope your day is great, and we will talk again tomorrow.
Until then, take it easy.
See ya.
