Grateful Log for Wednesday July 24, 2024

1. Today is the day I’m officially “launching” the ocean front bag (more to follow later)
2. Got to hang out with Mozzie a bit this morning
3. Good recovery sleep last night

😶‍🌫️ Quiet today. Stuck to myself even when around family this evening, my natural reaction when attacked. Words hurt. Actions hurt. People are people. I'll get over it with time, but makes me realize just how vulnerable I've made myself. Bunch of issues here that I need to deal with.

1. Watched National Treasure 2 with Mozzie last night.
2. A new week
3. Changes in the weather

Oof. Overwhelming anxiety out of nowhere.

🏊 A bit stalled with what to do next today. Heading to the pool, despite the cloud coverage, for a change of scenery.

Grateful Log for Saturday July 20, 2024

1. All of the ideas I’ve been having lately, most of which have come to life!
2. Good sleep
3. Being inspired.

Here’s a photo of the neighbor cat enjoying one of the new deck chairs yesterday while I was making dinner :-)

💡 An idea I had woke me up 30 minutes before my alarm. Brain has been in a heavy creation cycle lately!

Slower and more work on my end, but this feels like the right way to handle this part. Will also update The Strathmere site to use this same method. Much more human in this very digital world.

Strathmere Leather site is up, dead simple. Just a way to hopefully better organize and communicate regarding this specific product line. Hoping to wrap the Ocean Front site later today.

Much quicker. This one will be live soon. Creating a bit of a brand around Strathmere Leather, with the various travel related products underneath it. It is in my nature to complicate things :-)

Grateful Log for Friday July 19, 2024

1. Time at the pool this week: I sit there, soak up the sun, receive the ideas, write them down.
2. Being able to shift to various tasks based on where I feel most effective at any given moment.
3. SOLID sleep last night.

Completed these two leather cigar cases yesterday. Hand-dyed in a custom dye blend that I mix for each new order. Very happy with how they turned out.

I know enough to be dangerous. Using Jekyll and Github Pages for several websites at the moment and am very happy with how everything works together. https://github.com/oceanfrontbag/oceanfrontbag.github.io
